NEET Result

First the answer sheets are evaluated and the result is uploaded on the official website of NTA NEET. Aspirants can check their results by with the help of their application ID and password.

 

AIQ Merit List

Candidates securing the bare minimum NEET cut off are eligible for the admission process. In government colleges, 15% of the seats are allotted under the All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% through the state quota.

 

Aspirants have to register themselves into Counselling through MCC and State websites.

 

NTA then prepares a list of NEET qualified candidates as per Marks and All India rankings. This list is used for themAIQ counselling.

 

NTA also shares details of the candidates who have qualified the examination with their respective states for admission to the 85 per cent state quota seats. At this point, the role of NTA ends.

 

NEET Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announces the (NEET 2022) counselling schedule and seat matrix for the 15 per cent AIQ seats. While, the State Medical Counselling Authority releases the notification for the counselling of the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Those who have cleared the exam have to follow the procedure stated by the counselling authorities.

Admission procedure for Maharashtra State Medical Counselling

 

NEET scores are a very important factor for all students hoping to pursue a career in medical science. Students must first check the eligibility criteria for medical admission 2022 in the state of Maharashtra.

 

  • The aspirant must compulsorily be a permanent resident of the state of Maharashtra.
  • The aspirant must have passed the SSC (10th) or equivalent examination from a school or junior college situated in the state of Maharashtra.
  • OR – The aspirant must have passed the qualifying examination i.e., Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination, from a school or junior college from the state of Maharashtra.
  • OR – They must be the children of the employees of the Maharashtra state government or on deputation or transfer.
  • The minimum age limit is 17 years whereas no upper age limit.
  • While passing class 12 or the junior college, the students must have PCB as their subject along with English.

 

You can follow the following steps to fill out the application form.

 

  • Candidates should go to the website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell and select the Maharashtra MBBS Registration option.
  • Fill out the necessary details such as phone number, email address, etc.
  • Candidates must pay the application fee after filling out the above-mentioned information. The application fees can be paid online using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
  • The admission fees is 1000 rupees and bank challan charges are 60 rupees. The application fee is non-refundable.

 

Medical Admission 2022 – Document Verification

Students need to get their documents verified during the time of admission. For this, the students should choose the documents verification centre and get it done as early as possible. The verification centres for Maharashtra CET 2022 MBBS/ BDS admission/ counselling are as follows:

Mumbai: Grant Government Medical College, Sir J.J. Hospital Campus, Byculla, Mumbai – 400008

Aurangabad: Government Medical College, Aurangabad

Nagpur: Government Medical College, Nagpur

Pune: B.J. Government Medical College, Pune
