The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in four sessions. Each exam has two papers, Paper I for B.Tech while Paper II for B.Arch/B.Plan. The exam will be conducted in February, March, April, and May. The best score out of all four sessions will be considered as eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced.

The JEE Main 2022 exam date will be released on its official website www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. The exam duration will be 3 hours; the questions will be multiple choice and questions with numerical values as answers. Four marks will be awarded to each correct answer and a negative marking of one mark on each wrong answer, but no negative marking will be there for questions with numerical value answers. Paper 2A for B.Arch bears 82 questions carrying 400 marks, and B.Plan will bear 105 MCQs totaling 400 marks.
